Ashland City Summer Festival

Adam and I had as much fun bumping our cars as Hunter did.
Aunt Wendy was brave enough to let the little guy drive.

Ashland City had their annual Summer Festival down by the river. Hunter has been hesitant to ride rides in the past, but this year he wanted to ride all of the kiddy rides. We were amazed at how brave he was being. The one ride he was scared of was the Ferris Wheel. However, he didn't realize he was scared until we got in the car and started to go up in the air. He grabbed my arm as tight as he could. After a few moments, his grip got a little less tense. By the end of the ride, he was looking out over the edge. Aunt Wendy was in town and was able to go along with us. She had a blast watching Hunter enjoy the night. Hunter's favorite ride was the bounce house slide. It was $5 for a pass to get in. I couldn't believe the price, but he definitely got our money out of it. The night ended with an amazing firework show and one last time on the bumper cars (his second favorite ride).
