The Two Minds Meet
Having the family down here certainly helped Hunter and I keep our minds off of Adam leaving. They arrived on Monday evening and stayed until the following Saturday. With it being a school week, I worked on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then took some personal time off on Thursday and Friday. The week flew by. Tuesday while I was at school they loaded up the van and took the boys to the park. "Let's Dig It" is located in the coolest park. It is a covered area that has small gravel for the kids to dig in. Under some of the gravel are fossils. There are also areas for them to climb around in. Hunter loves to go here and Colin had a good time. That night we went to the beach for about an hour. Colin loved the water and sand.
Thursday we spent the morning going to Costco and then letting the boys play. I made a trip to the golf course and watched Papa play. It was so nice to sit back and concentrate on doing nothing and just visiting with him. We had a good afternoon.
Friday we took off and went to the beach. The boys loved it. That night Sara and I went out to celebrate Jayme's birthday. Girls night was a lot of fun. Sara and I both needed a night out on the town. I was sad to see them leave SW Florida, but it will be only 2 weeks till we see them again.

Night out on the town.
Special people in this picture!
These are some pics from the beach party. Lots of friends and tons of babies!!!
The last few weeks have flown by and were full of activity. Between spending time with friends, packing Adam up, and Adam leaving I have not had a moment to sit down and blog in over 2 weeks. Both Adam's friends and my friends gave a "going away" party the first weekend in March. We are not sure when Adam will be coming down to visit before we move so everyone decided to go ahead and put these together.
Adam's friends met up at Mr. J's Tavern Saturday night. It was a great evening. Sarah and Matthew Burke kept little guy so that we could have a night to ourselves. The next day, my friends threw a going away party at the beach. It was a perfect day! My closest friends here, Jayme and Michelle, had been planning this for a while, but kept me in the dark until the day before. We took Hunter's dump truck and he ran like crazy all over the place. After the party, we went down to the beach for a little fam time. Adam and Hunter were soaked by the time we left. Overall the weekend was perfect.
The next week was full of dinners, parties, and a golf tournament. Saturday night before Adam we had a formal dinner to attend. It was nice to get dressed up and go out on the town. Even though we were dressed up and out on the town without little guy, both of us were a little sad knowing what the next day he was leaving for Bristol.
Sunday morning was one that we all had been dreading since August. We had hoped that I might find a position and be able to move with him. However, as you all know, that didn't work out. So...here we are in Naples, Florida, while Adam is in Bristol, Virginia.
