Home

I love our home. Our walls are slowly starting to take shape by adding galleries throughout the house. This is the newest gallery. I found several frames at Marshall's in the clearance section this summer. I also found this ceiling tile and I added the words "Our Family". I immediately knew what I wanted to do. I am wanting to have a gallery of our families. Adam's on the right and mine on the left. This is just the beginning, but so far I am pleased.

The tree is our Thankful tree, a Pinterest idea that I fell in love with. Hunter loved helping create the tree. We even got the neighbor kids involved. Lots to be thankful for!!!

Pumpkin Festival

A few years ago we visited Lakes Park in Ft. Myers. They had the cutest train, but we didn't get to experience it at that time. I had heard that they had a pumpkin patch in the park and the train was running. I was so glad that we had family down to enjoy this with us. Hunter was in heaven. He was on the first car behind the engine. We all enjoyed our 15 minute ride around the park. We didn't purchase any pumpkins, but we enjoyed everything the festival had to offer. Of course, Pops (better known as "Pop-sicle" by Mackenzie) ended the afternoon with a little something sweet.

Enjoying the Grandparents

The weather has been perfect this weekend. We sat and watched the kids play outside most of Saturday. I think everyone was grateful for the good weather. Hunter was showing off his golf skills. He certainly has his swing down, but you don't want to be around him when he does it.

Our Annual Carving

This year we had an honorary carver for our pumpkin carving...Pops. Annmother and Pops came down for a visit. Mackenzie and Hunter loved having them visit. Hunter wanted Pops to carve our pumpkin this year. I was glad to hand that job to him. They had fun carving and emptying the seeds, or also known as the pumpkin's teeth. Ia picture of the final product is stuck on the memory card of my broken camera. It turned out perfect!!!

Birthday Banners

Hunter loves putting banners up around the house. So, for his birthday I put little birthday sayings with animal plates all over the house. Here are just a few pictures of his banners that he has created for us to enjoy along with his birthday banners.

Growing Up

Hunter's 6th birthday crept up and bit me. I can't believe that it has bern6 years. He has had a big couple of months. Below is one of his 1st pictures after he was born, a picture of his 1st day of school (which I thought I had posted), and a memorable celebration.
Hunter's birth story is one I do like to revisit this time every year. It is such a blessing that he is here with us today.
