Surprise Jayme!

Kevin planned a much needed celebration for Jayme's birthday at Giovanni's Italian Restaurant. I put together a few decorations and had some fun. She had no clue until they pulled into the parking lot. Once she started seeing some familiar cars, she had a good hint something was going on. We had a blast celebrating.

The Collier County Fair

Each year the fair has brought a different experience for us. Hunter gets braver each year. Mackenzie is wanting to join right in, but unfortunately she will have to wait one more year. Adam rode several of the rides and had just as much fun as the kids. The Burke family joined us. We had a blast watching the kids making memories.

Sunday Fun

Today Adam stayed home. He has been working a lot of Sundays lately. It was a great treat to have him enjoy the Florida weather with us today. We took full advantage. After church, we picked up lunch and headed to the beach. The water was so clear. The kids had a blast. We love watching Mackenzie and Hunter play together. Everyone had good naps afterwards, including "he who never sleeps".

Slumber Party

The Burke kiddos joined us for an evening of fun. Mackenzie loved having them around. It is cute to watch her running around with them. Samantha loves brushing her hair, playing in her kitchen together, and pretending that Mackenzie is her baby. Really cute. I made pancakes this morning for all to enjoy. It was cute watching them huddle around the table eating and watching cartoons.

Friday Nights

Ahhhh....after a long week, it is so nice to sit and enjoy my kids. This is us enjoying a movie.

Today Hunter was running around collecting several articles of clothing. He came out dressed like this. Cute!!!

Zoo Time

A benefit of being a Collier County resident is free Zoo Saturdays. The 1st Saturday of every month is free. This worked out perfect because Hunter's class talked about the Zoo this week. Jayme and Hayden joined us on our adventure. We arrived as early as we could. The weather was a little warm, but the animals were out and about. Mackenzie loved looking at all of the animals. Hunter did a goo job navigating ;). My little monkeys enjoyed our day.

The Strawberry Festival

It's that time of year again... 1st the Strawberry Festival and in a few weeks the fair. Last year, Hunter was hard to convince to go any ride. This year, there was NO hesitation. The "Dragon Wagon" was a nightmare last year. This year it was a favorite. It was a little slower than the one last year, but it was a roller coaster. Mackenzie tried to get on each ride with Hunter. She is not going to have any hesitation once she can ride. It will be hard to keep her occupied this time next year because she will still be too small. We had a great time at the festival. Afterwards, we decided to get a bite to eat. It was already 7:00 pm and we were flirting with disaster with Mackenzie, but we decided to go ahead. As soon as the chips were delivered, she dug in AND she couldn't get enough of the salsa. She was scooping it out by the spoonful. I kept waiting for tears, but she kept eating. I was a little worried about her tummy, but she did fine. She was a little restless till midnight and I decided to give her some Mylcon just in case and slept fine. What a great way to start the weekend!!!
