Happy Birthday Daddy!

Happy Birthday Daddy!
Ok, so it was Adam's birthday and Hunter still got a treat by going to the park with his Hotwheel that was given to him from his Great Uncle Junior and Great Aunt Linda.

Adam's birthday was February 20. We had a very small family celebration. We bought some balloons and ice cream cake to celebrate. Hunter decorated some birthday signs that we posted on the wall. He was really proud of his work. Adam came home not expecting a celebration, but I think he enjoyed it. The Dinner Menu consisted of Cajun Pasta and Red Lobster Rolls (homemade) followed up with a suprise dessert, ice cream cake.

Valentines Day Celebrations

Hunter enjoying his book that Papa and Nannie bought him.
Lovin' candy with Annmother!

Hunter's class celebrates Valentines Day with yummy vanilla cupcakes with chocolate frosting. Hunter wanted 2!

Valentines day turned into an eventful weekend. We started out celebrating at Spring Garden Preschool with all of Hunter's friends. We then took off towards Nashville to spend the weekend with the family. Adam, having the weekends off right now due to the golf course being closed, joined us for the trip. This will be his last trip to Nashville for quite some time. We enjoyed the weekend with both families. We were able to relax and visit with the Boyd's on Saturday. Annmother and Pops kept Hunter while Adam and I went on a date. We went down to West End for dinner and then hit the movie theater. This was our first date since December and it was great to be together AND alone. Sunday we visited with Papa, Nannie, and Mawmaw. Hunter was completely spoiled at both houses with candy, books, and clothes. He truly enjoys spending time with family and looks forward to every visit.

Our Snow Day Project

Today we were snowed in. So...with a little left over Christmas wrapping paper, glitter, glue, a Sharpie, and Cars stickers we put together Hunter's Valentine's Day Box. He was really proud of it. He worked really hard on putting the stickers on all sides. He had a great time.

Snow and Valentines

Hunter making his first valentines (well helping anyway). Snow, Snow, Snow!!!

This winter has been a winter for everyone in this area to remember. We have had several big snows. It is to the point where we wonder if we moved to the North Pole instead of Virginia. In fact, out of the next 7 days it is supposed to snow 6 of them. Unbelievable! Hunter was a little under the weather the last batch of snow, but we were able to get out for a few minutes.

Tonight we put together his Valentines for his class. I wrote the names and he stuck stickers on each one for each friend. It was fun having him choose which Valentine and sticker for each of his friends at school. And of course...the theme was Cars. McQueen was his choice at the store which was no surprise to Adam and I. This weekend we are looking forward, and hoping the snow doesn't stop us, to a trip to Nashville to see family. We haven't been since Christmas and are needing to get out of town for a few days. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
