Blessed Day

Uncle Jeff and Aunt Rhonda invited the whole family over to their house on Saturday afternoon.  Many prayers had been said prior for good weather.  We haven't had Daddy and Mawmaw at a family event since Christmas 2011.  It was so good to have them both with us on this special day.  The kids always have a blast together.
Briley was trying to find Easter eggs, but instead found a baseball.
Evan and Mackenzie both like to be in charge.  We call them our "alpha" babies.  She did let him take over and drive.   It was cute watching their little bodies scoot around the yard in the Jeep.
Daddy was in really good spirits.  He wanted to help push Colin around.  He did have his head down but would occasionally try to look up.  I think he was aware of everyone around him and who we were.
This is one of the best pictures I have gotten of him in a while.  He did really well just sitting and watching everyone.
EJ and Hunter amaze me in their similarities even as they age, they still look very similar.  They always have a blast together.  I can't wait to get them together this summer.
Hunting for eggs was so much fun.  I love this picture due to the blooms.  There are only a few things I miss about the seasons:  fall colors on the trees, the 1st snow, and the spring blooms.  I was glad that I was able to enjoy a few of these this weekend.
Checking out the candy.
Colin getting some lovin' from Papa.

It was so good to see Mawmaw and Daddy together.  She is taking his decline rather hard.  She gets upset every time she sees him, but begs to see him weekly.  They haven't had a lot of time together since last October, but each visit is special.

The sibllings...it was good to see them all together again.
Mackenzie finished off the afternoon with a pink cupcake.
