The Two Minds Meet
Diggin'Having the family down here certainly helped Hunter and I keep our minds off of Adam leaving. They arrived on Monday evening and stayed until the following Saturday. With it being a school week, I worked on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then took some personal time off on Thursday and Friday. The week flew by. Tuesday while I was at school they loaded up the van and took the boys to the park. "Let's Dig It" is located in the coolest park. It is a covered area that has small gravel for the kids to dig in. Under some of the gravel are fossils. There are also areas for them to climb around in. Hunter loves to go here and Colin had a good time. That night we went to the beach for about an hour. Colin loved the water and sand.
Thursday we spent the morning going to Costco and then letting the boys play. I made a trip to the golf course and watched Papa play. It was so nice to sit back and concentrate on doing nothing and just visiting with him. We had a good afternoon.
Friday we took off and went to the beach. The boys loved it. That night Sara and I went out to celebrate Jayme's birthday. Girls night was a lot of fun. Sara and I both needed a night out on the town. I was sad to see them leave SW Florida, but it will be only 2 weeks till we see them again.
