Hunter's favorite Disney character is still Lightning McQueen.
Mackenzie's shirt was a little too big, but it makes a perfect nightgown.
I tried to get them to take a good picture all dressed up for Easter. They posed a little too much on this one. I loved them in the pastel colors.
Nannie was proud to have all of her children and grandchildren at church with her on Easter Sunday.
After church, we headed to Nannie's for some quick lunch and some good naps before heading over to Papa's. The kids were excited about seeing Papa.
Papa was asleep most of our visit. He did occasionally pop up and try to check the kids out. We had brought a few things to keep everyone busy. While we were setting up dinner, the kids watched a movie.
We had ordered lunch from the Texas Roadhouse. It was nice to have a place for us all to gather around a table and share a meal. Nannie had each one of the kids a basket with goodies.
Papa had his favorite...steak. He ate most of it along with some of his potato. The kids gobbled up their chicken and fries.
Here is Papa getting a few moments with Briley before the Easter Egg Hunt.
We were able to hide eggs in the courtyard in his unit of the home. The other residents were able to set up chairs at the windows and enjoyed watching the kids collect their eggs. It was neat to watch all of them enjoy the kids. The smiles on their faces were as big as the smiles on the kids faces.
I was so glad to sit and enjoy Daddy for a few moments.
Hunter was so cute wanting to give Papa an egg.
As we were leaving, Papa gave Evan and Sara one more hug. He always enjoys our visits even though he may not always know we are there.
We ended the day, getting some Trixie time. What a great Easter. I'm so glad that we were able to come home and visit. So many good memories were made over the last few days.
